Twilight Of The Second Day

[Hosea 6:1-3 NKJV] 1 Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. 2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. 3 Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter [and] former rain to inter the earth.

This is very interesting prophecy in light of what Peter says in 2 Peter 3:8 – there he said, But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day [is] as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. You see there’s a sense in which Jesus has been gone for only two days instead of 2000 years. If that’s the case, then we’re in the twilight of that second day. And as God said through the prophet Hosea, On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Praise the Lord!
